May the 4th

Every so often a feast must be called. With retrospect on all anthropological observation, it seems a very few things unite humans like a good fire and a good feast. In the case of the civilized man, the ancient flame has been replaced by a screen and video player; and the fireside stones are replaced by cushions.
This fourth of May, a clever marketing ploy took the nation by storm; called "May The Fourth", a play on words of "May the Force..." and so Star Wars is promoted throughout the land. Bugger it. I'll take any excuse to feast!
Notably, at the moment that Darth Vader strikes down Obi Wan Kenobi, a bunch of young children jumped around in the living room at the home of my amiga Dawn Rae, while I chilled on the couch with innumerable, more dedicated fanatics, while enjoying the company of a fancy pomeranian dog.
